I went up to Gordy's and traded the pup back for Roy. Before heading home, we sent Roy, Lucky and the pup in by the tee. The pup went right along but came back after about 5 minutes. Roy and Lucky struck and ran a good long track. We walked all the way through the section, they were treed on the high ground across a big swamp. We walked the tar all the way around rather than go back through the swamp. I was sore the next day.
Took Ruby up to the schoolhouse section. She didn't hunt out very well for the first 1/2 hour but finally got lost. Walked around for 1-1/2 hours no strikes. Caught her and moved to the birdhouse. She struck by a pothole, warmed it up and treed by Don Edens daughters house. Had the coon on the outside. Caught her and headed home.
Saw two coons on the road, 1 driving up and another while headed back home.
