Jack caught a coon rading the bird feeder. I took it up to the farm for a training session. Dale and Mark brought their dogs to run with Billy's. It was still hot at 11:00. The dogs ran across the open ground and then started opening in the woods. I'm not sure who treed first. The coon was up in a tree that rose up out of a tangled mass. Ruby was the only dog actually looking at the coon. The other dogs were barking up where I assumed the coon had climbed. It's kind of funny to see Billy's old lab with the coonhounds. Sage won't be left behind when we load up. She always takes control of any coons on the ground. The little dogs seemed shy around Sage tonight and gave her extra room. Only Roy got in there and fought with her. Boy is Roy ever fat.
Seever called & listed off the places with early corn. I guess I'll be working next week. I think I'll borrow Ruby and Pearl for a few weeks. Roy is so fat I don't think he'll be able to handle too much.
