Took Ruby to the river. Walked into the corn and must have turned her loose right on top of a skunk. I caught her and scolded her, but not until after she had run it a little and been sprayed. I took her to another field and sent her in. I saw something run down the road, small but not a coon. She struck in the corn. I was trying to stay on top of her just in case it was bad. I spotted a coon sitting up and I relaxed. She made a loop in the corn and came into the tree nicely. That coon had definately been in the corn. So had that skunk... I went home.
